Yesterday was a fun day. Me and Carlo had a nice day fishing on lake Kensico. It's surprising that even he felt a trip outside the city was like a get away from reality. I think it's great to be able to enjoy nature once in a while. Not that New York City doesn't have any nature in it, but going to the park isn't the same as going out in the woods. We headed out pretty early to beat the traffic in the city. We made go time from Brooklyn to Valhalla, a town in Westchester county, in good time. It maybe took us about an hour or so to get there. But being that it was our first time there it was quite frustrating looking a place to park and fish. There are actually two lakes connected to each other and are only separated by a bridge and land.
